How does Acupuncture work?

Acupuncture is one of the oldest health care systems in the world. The fundamental concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is that our health is the result of a harmonious imbalance between the Yin and Yang of the body.

Acupuncture can help with allergies, improving fertility and reproductive health, digestive support, relief from chronic illness, skin and anti-aging support, reducing inflammation, GI disorders, improving digestion, pain and so much more.

What to expect for your first visit

Initial visits are 75-90 minutes and will consist of an intake and health history. During this session, we will review your major health concerns as well as lifestyle and nutritional habits, sleep patterns and anything else that could relate to your visit. Your tongue and pulse diagnosis will be assessed, then followed by an acupuncture treatment. The initial visit is important to address all major health concerns because we will determine which systems are out of balance from an eastern medicine stand point and decide on what the best treatment plan is for you.

Return visits are 60 minutes and incorporate a 10 - 20 minute re-evaluation followed by a treatment. During this session, we will discuss your progress and re-evaluate your treatment plan if needed.

Cancelation Policy: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy and a missed appointment will result in a fee.
